Fremont, Ohio, April 13, 2018 – Terra State Community College’s summer semester begins May 21, with registration underway.  Taking summer classes at Terra State not only allows someone to earn a degree quicker, it is also a great way to reduce your college debt.

“Students at four-year institutions can take classes at Terra State and transfer those credits, while current Terra State students can continue their education year-round.  Either way, these students can earn their degrees quicker and for less financial commitment,” says Terra State Director of Admissions Justin Veigel.  “Terra State has one of the lowest tuition cost in Ohio which makes it an affordable option for those pursuing either a two-year or four-year degree.”  Classes at Terra State are only $186.00 per credit hour.  “Credits earned at Terra State transfer easily to most other institutions in the state,” Veigel says.  “Our staff will ensure that the transfer process is smooth for any of our students.”

The summer semester offers multiple start days, depending on the class taken.  The majority of classes begin on May 21.  Other classes begin on June 18 and July 2.  A wide variety of class subjects is offered that include distance learning and online options.

New, current and visiting students interested in registering for summer semester should contact the Terra State Admissions Office at 419.559.2349 or admissions@terra.edu or visit terra.edu.
