Terra College provides outreach services to community constituents by promoting our programs and services, serving as a liaison with community organizations and constituents and creating awareness and understanding on campus regarding multiculturalism and diversity issues.
Multicultural Support is focused on four areas:
- Outreach Services. Home visits, establishing and maintaining contact with minority organizations and establishing and sustaining a multicultural support advisory committee.
- Campus and Community Education. Establishing multicultural student organizations, planning and implementing activities and programs that focus on multicultural education and developing and implementing training events that educate campus constituents on multiculturalism.
- Celebration. Organizing events such as the annual Estrella Award to recognize and celebrate multicultural programs.
- Recruitment. Collaborating with Terra recruitment activities to insure the presence of opportunities for minority students.
