Terra State Community College has provided educational opportunities to Veterans, active duty personnel, military dependants and survivors since its founding in 1968.  In addition to assistance with educational benefits, the College accepts military training credit, and provides numerous support services and recognition activities for our Veteran students.  For two consecutive years, Terra State has been named a "military friendly" school by G.I. Jobs.

Enrollment Checklist for Veteran Students

• Visit Terra 
• Apply for admission 
• Provide transcripts of prior learning to the Record's Office 
• Apply for veteran's benefits 
• Apply for financial aid 
• Complete the placement assessment 
• Meet with the veterans advisor 
• Attend CORE (Complete Orientation & Registration Experience) 
• Contact the admissions office for more help
