When a student enrolls for a course(s) and later officially withdraws from the course(s), tuition, general, lab, library/technology and student activities fees will be refunded based on the date of the official withdrawal. See links for additional information

To complete an official withdrawal, a student must withdraw from classes through the student portal at online registration. The percentage of the refund is based on when the official withdrawal occurs and the length of the enrollment in the course(s) measured in calendar days from the beginning of the term.

An official withdrawal on the following calendar days entitles the student to the following refund percentage of tuition, general, lab, and student activities fees:

  • Registration fee - non-refundable
  • Instructional, general, lab, and student activities fees
    • Calendar Days 1-7 . . . 100%
    • Calendar Days 8-14 . . . 50%
    • After 14 calendar days, no refund

Refunds of Excess Financial Aid Issued Through BankMobile Disbursements

  • The College works with BankMobile Disbursements to issue tuition refunds and excess financial aid refunds. Checks are no longer issued at the College.
  • Students should verify their mailing address through their my.terra account.
  • Students will receive an e-mail from BankMobile Disbursements either to their Terra State e-mail or a Refund Selection Kit via US Postal Service from BankMobile Disbursements containing a Personal Code that will be used for your preference set up .
  • After receiving the Personal Code, students should log on refundselection.com to select their refund delivery preference. Student preferences are direct deposit to your bank account, check in the mail from BankMobile Vibe, or set up a BankMobile Vibe account.
