If you are looking for motorcycle safety classes near Fremont, Ohio, Terra Community College is a permanent site for the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Motorcycle Safety Program.
You can register for these classes online or at the Kern Center on campus. No mail-in registrations will be accepted! Telephone registrations are allowed with a valid credit or debit card. Walk-in registrations will only be permitted on Monday/Wednesday mornings 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM and Friday afternoons 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM.
Personal scooters are now permitted for these courses. Please bring proof of insurance and your registration on the first night of classes.
2012 Motorcycle Class Schedule - Classes begin April 20, 2012!!
Basic Rider Course (BRC)
- You must attend all three days.
- This course is for beginners.
- Those who pass the course will have the Ohio Skills Test waived and will receive their motorcycle endorsement by presenting to the Deputy Registrar within 60 days of completion.
- Students must have a validated Ohio Motorcycle Permit BEFORE attending.
- Motorcycles (and helmets) will be furnished.
- Cost per student is a $25 non-refundable fee.
Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC-2)
- This one-day course is designed for riders that have more than one permit and more than 6 months of experience
- Those that pass the course will have the Ohio Skills Test waived and will receive their motorcycle endorsement by presenting to the Deputy Registrar within 60 days of completion.
- Motorcycles will be furnished.
- Students MUST have a validated Ohio Motorcycle Permit BEFORE attending.
- Cost per student is a $25 non-refundable fee.
Experienced Rider Course (ERC)
- By taking this one-day motorcycle safety class, experienced riders might be eligible for an insurance discount.
- Students must have six months riding experience and a current Motorcycle Endorsement on their Ohio Drivers License.
- Participants must provide their own motorcycle.
- Cost per student is a $25 non-refundable fee.
