The Office of Student Activities seeks to provide the Terra State community with diversified, integrated learning opportunities designed to enhance and maximize students' co-curricular educational experience. We also provide services and activities for students to engage in and foster a sense of connection, aid in the development of leadership and interpersonal skills, and social and cultural development of all community members.
Aligned with the vision of the College, the Office of Student Activities will seek innovative and collaborative ways to educate and serve all members of the Terra State community.
The Student Activities Center (SAC) is the place that provides recreation and a good workout for students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests alike.
The SAC provides the use of athletic equipment such as basketballs, volleyballs, footballs, pool table, and ping-pong. We also have board games, corn hole, and kick balls. Or you can just watch TV while hanging out and socializing with other students.
A valid I.D. card is required to use our athletic equipment and it will be held at the SAC desk until the equipment is returned. A valid I.D. card is also required to gain access to our exercise equipment in our fitness loft for those looking to improve their fitness level.
Thirteen times around our walking track equals one mile.
The SAC fitness instructors are trained to assist in developing a well-rounded fitness program that includes initial fitness testing and an evaluation to develop a program specifically suited to an individual's needs and goals.
The SAC also offers Intramural Sports programs which include:
- Co-ed volleyball
- Flag football
