Rotary Student of the Month
for November, 2007

Terra Community Colleges Rotary Student of the Month for November is Brenda Frisby.

The Kansas resident is seeking dual degrees in Executive Office Administration and Medical Office Administration at Terra.

It is a great honor, Brenda said of the Rotary award. I have worked very hard to keep my grades up, and it is so nice to be recognized for the hard work.

School work, family (one son) and her job keep her pretty busy but she is involved at her church and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Terra.

Brenda plans to graduate in May 2008 and says she eventually would like to take my education and my past experiences and use them to help humanity.

And while she is also considering enrolling in the Fast Track program through Terra and Tiffin University, she is enjoying her time at Terra now.

You know, before I got started I was dreading going back to school, but I knew I needed to, she said. Once I got back in the swing of things, I have really enjoyed learning. I have enjoyed learning from such well-educated, skilled instructors. Terra has a great staff of instructors, as well as other staff members. Their personal experiences along with their education bring much more interest to the classroom.
