The Marketing, Communications and Public Relations office informs the region about Terra State Community College and responds to general information needs from the public. Areas of responsibility cover marketing/advertising, college web site, publications, print production, media relations, college branding, internal communications and community/public relations.

What we do:

Marketing/Advertising

  • Support enrollment goals
  • Maintain public awareness about the college
  • Create unique identity for Terra State Community College
  • Ensure consistency of “brand” to the community
  • Manage vendors (including radio, television, web, magazine, newspaper, billboard, and direct mail)
  • Advertising media includes mobile and digital ads, billboards, radio, print, special publications (ethnic interest, veterans, etc.), web ads

Graphic Standards and Logo

Terra State Community College strives to maintain consistency and integrity in its visual identity. The Terra State logo has been carefully designed to reflect our identity. These graphics are familiar to our many audiences, which include: students, faculty, staff, donors, event audiences, our community members and partners. In order to maintain graphic integrity, it is very important that the Terra State logo and graphics mark must be used with care using a few simple guidelines.

The Terra State Community College logo is the most visible and recognizable expression of the Terra State brand. The College understands and appreciates that outside parties may want to show affiliation with Terra State. However, the use of the College logo to imply affiliation with or endorsement by Terra State Community College without express written permission from the College is strictly prohibited. Exceptions may be made for news media, educational use or events for which Terra State Community College is a major sponsor. This type of exception should be arranged through the Marketing Department of Terra State.
