Terra State and its programs are accredited through a variety of commissions and state organizations. We are proud to maintain accreditation through the following:

Terra State Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a regional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. In 2018 the Higher Learning Commission decided to phase out the AQIP accreditation pathway, Terra State's pathway since September 20, 2000. Due to a successful review of the 2017-2018 AQIP Systems Portfolio, in 2018-2019 Terra State Community College will transition to year 5 of the Open Pathway cycle. Quality improvement is still a component of the Open Pathway cycle, to which Terra State Community College remains committed. The Open Pathway cycle requires a Quality Initiative project, to be proposed by August 31 of 2021, and completed by August 31 of 2023. The HLC comprehensive evaluation with site visit will occur in 2023-2024.
