EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Current Program and Course Description Information:
With tighter legislative controls over child care centers and their employees, new laws have dramatically affected the quality of service and the required qualifications of those in Early Childhood Education. Public school systems and Head Start are providing early childhood settings. Head Start teachersare required to have a Pre-Kindergarten Associate teaching license. Terras Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education is a fully-approved program for the State of Ohio Department of Educations teaching licensure as a Pre-Kindergarten Associate. Specialized admission requirements and performance objectives are detailed by law.
