Rehearsals: Monday/Wednesday, 3:30 - 4:50

Performing Live!  Contemporary, Rock, Jazz, Country, and instrumental music.  Note reading skills, while helpful, are not necessary for this group. Students are challenged to learn new techniques, styles, develop and improve improvisational skills, are given the opportunity to solo within their ability, and have the opportunity to work with other musicians and ensembles. 

Featuring Electronic Guitars, Bass, Keyboard, and Percussion, Singers welcome!  Program format depends on ability of individual players.  Performances are often "themed" shows.  Grades are based on attendance, preparation, participation, and final concert.

Winter Quarter 2006 the EME in cooperation with the brass choir and State of the Art performed songs from the hit Movie "School of Rock" to a standing room only crowd in Fremont.  The upcoming Spring 2006 concert is to feature tunes from Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, Pat Benatar, Kiss, The Voice, and more!  Performance date TBA.
