Biography for John Cipiti

Director of Musical Arts
Coordinator of Terra’s Music on Sunday concert Series

John Cipiti holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Heidelberg College, a Masters Degree in Musical Composition from Bowling Green State University.  He is currently the Director of Musical Arts at Terra and the coordinator of Terra’s Music on Sunday concert series. 

Mr. Cipiti teaches Music Theory III and IV, Aural Skill III and IV, History and Literature of Music I and II, Twentieth Century Music, Class Piano, Critical Thinking and the History of Rock and Roll.  Along with his classroom duties he also teaches privately on the Guitar, Piano and Percussion.  He has written music for orchestra, choral ensembles, brass, string quartets, numerous songs, electronic music, solo piano, and was nominated and selected for the Diamond 60^th Anniversary Edition of Who’s Who in America for 2006.  Since the mid-eighties he has performed professionally in numerous contemporary bands and theater pit orchestras playing the guitar, keyboards and percussion.
