Entry Level Requirements for HIT Degree and Medical Coding Certificate:
1. COMPASS placement into ENG 1050 or completion of ENG 1020
    or ENG 0810.
2. Completion of high school chemistry with "C" or better within last
    3 years or completion of CHM 1010 and CHM 1015.
3. COMPASS placement into MTH 1310 or completion of MTH 0140.
    Students who do not meet these requirements may take MED 2400,
    MED 2450 (MED 2400 is a co-requisite), HIT 1350, and
    general education courses, but will not be able to begin any other
     HIT courses until the entry-level requirements are met.
