Beverly Mendoza

 

Terra Children’s Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Beverly Mendoza. A graduate of Miami University and Bowling Green State University, Mendoza has long had a passion for music. She sang in college ensembles, performing twice with the Cincinnati May Festival Orchestra, and sang in a women’s barbershop chorus for 13 years.

 

Bev directed the Youth and Cherub Choirs at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde for 15 years, was instrumental in starting the Hand Chime Choir, and currently directs the Chancel Choir.  She is beginning her fourth season with the Terra vocal music program, singing in both the Choral Society and Arts Chorale. 

 

Bev completed the Conducting Studies Certificate program at Terra in 2005 and began directing the Terra Children’s Choir in the spring of 2006.  She is employed by the Sandusky County Educational Service Center in Fremont as a physical education teacher for children with disabilities.
