  • Students will learn how to deal with short attention spans and how to deal with distractions.
  • Students will see how planning can save them time and therefore reduce stress.

168 Hours of Time - Use it or lose it.”
  • Follow these instructions to create a lifeline and submit your work to your instructor:

    • In MS Word list in chronological order your lifetime starting with your birth, first day of school, and other significant events in your life.  Extend the lifeline into the future.  Write down key events you would like to see occur in one year, five years, and ten years from now. Choose events that align with your core values. Work quickly in the spirit of a brainstorm, bearing in mind that this is not a final plan.
    • Select one key event for the future and list any actions you cold take in the next month to bring yourself closer to that goal. Do the same with the other key events on your lifeline.
    • Extend your lifeline another 50 years beyond the year when you would reach age 100.  Describe in detail what changes in the world you would like to see as a result of the goals you attainted in your lifetime.

    • Email the completed assignment to your instructor.

Submit to your instructor a description about exactly how you will change your behavior to free up four additional hours each week for the upcoming month.  (That’s a total of 16 extra hours over the next four weeks.)
