During the year long Capstone Experience, second year students in the Manufacturing Engineering program will work on manufacturing projects with our industrial partners and students from the Engineering Design Major, Industrial Electricity Major, and Integrated Manufacturing/Robotics Major. Students will work together across all these disciplines to design, implement and evaluate these year long projects.
Students in the Manufacturing Engineering program would enroll in MET201 (Introduction to Product Design) in the Fall, MET250 (CAD/CAM I) in the Winter, and MET251 (CAD/CAM II) in the Spring of year two of their program. They would also enroll in Capstone Seminar I course during Fall Quarter, Capstone Seminar II course in the Winter Quarter and Capstone Seminar III course in the Spring Quarter of their second year. Students will meet weekly with a project manager and the students from the other technology programs during the Capstone Seminar courses. |
