Some exciting news
for students transferring to B.G.S.U.
for
2008
We have been approved to offer the TRANSFER EXCELLENCE INCENTIVE GRANT
and the REGIONAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRANSFER INCENTIVE GRANT
for 2008 (students entering in Spring, Summer, or Fall semesters).
Transfer Excellence Incentive

A $2,500 nonrenewable award
To qualify
-
Application and credentials on file with the Office of Admissions by
the deadline date (May 15 for Summer Session, July 15 for Fall, and
December 1 for Spring)

Must enroll on main campus (6 hours or more each term)

Transfer applicants who have earned associate degrees from
regionally accredited institutions, or are members of
Phi Theta Kappa. Official transcript
verifying associate degree and/or Phi Theta Kappa membership
required
Regional Community College Transfer Incentive
To qualify
-
Application and credentials on file with the Office of Admissions by
the deadline date (May 15 for Summer Session, July 15 for Fall, and
December 1 for Spring)

Must enroll on main campus (6 hours or more each term)

Transfer applicants from Owens Community College (Toledo or
Findlay), Northwest State Community College, or Terra Community
College who have completed 12 semester hours or more (the community
college must be the last institution attended).
Student must have completed
the final semester with at least a 2.000 GPA and meet regular admissions
criteria.
