When Should I Apply? The application for admission does not have a deadline, so students should feel welcome to apply at any time before the semester begins. However, it is recommended that high school students apply before December 31st of their senior year. Adult students who are already out of high school should apply well in advance of the semester in which they plan to begin enrollment. Transfer Student Admission Transfer students who have previous college coursework from a different institution should follow the same application process shown above. In addition, official transcripts from previously attended colleges or universities should be sent to:
Student Records Office After an application for admission and official transcripts have been received and processed by Terra, a credit transfer evaluation will be made. The results will be sent by letter to the address provided on your application. Note: Credits will not be transferred for courses having a grade less than "C" unless the student has completed the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. For this situation, see the Statewide Transfer Policy. To graduate from Terra, a minimum of the last one-third of the total credit hours required for an associate degree must be completed at Terra Community College. Readmission Students who have been away from Terra Community College for more than one year may gain readmission by completing another application for admission form.
