Federal Parent Loans
for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) 

  • Parents are the borrowers rather than the student.
  • The student must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credits per term) to remain eligible for the loan.
  • Repayment begins 60 days after the loan is issued.
  • Award amounts are up to the cost of attendance less any financial aid for an academic year.
  • Contact the Financial Aid Office for current year interest rate.
