Deadlines and Admission Requirements

Deadlines 

  • May 1, for Fall Semester enrollment.
    December 1, for Spring Semester enrollment.

    (Applications must be post marked by the deadline.)

Admission Requirements

PSEO Option B

Student should:

  1. Be enrolled at an eligible Ohio high school and have completed the eighth grade.
  2. Have a counseling/participation form signed by the applicant, parent and high school counselor stating the applicant has received permission from their high school to participate in the PSEO program.
  3. Have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.
  4. Have achieved scores on ACT of 16 or higher.
    COMPASS, the placement test administered at Terra Community College, needed for recommendation to ENG 1020 or higher, college-level reading.
  5. Achieve score of 21 or higher on ACT placement in MTH 1310 (or higher) if student wishes to take math or related courses.
  6. Students may use a combination of ACT and COMPASS scores for eligibility.
  7. Submit of a PSEO application annually.
     
  8. Agree to abide by the policies and procedures of Terra Community College and the PSEO Program.
  9. Be placed into ENG 1020 by ACT or COMPASS to participate in PSEO.
