Guidelines for Participation
Student and parent please review this section:
- Students are limited to the number of courses they may enroll in at Terra Community College. This will be determined by your high school counselor and college advisor.
- Freshman and sophomores are limited to one class per
semester.
- Students are placed in math courses based on their COMPASS or ACT scores.
- Students are placed in English courses based on their COMPASS or ACT scores and the bluebook writing completed the first day of class.
- It is the student's responsibility to have their college schedule approved by their high school counselor.
- Students are not guaranteed course availability at the college.
- Students must meet all course co-requisites and/or prerequisites to enroll in a college course.
- Students may enroll in one online course after they successfully complete one semester of coursework at Terra Community College.
- Throughout participation, applicant must contact guidance counselor and PSEO program at Terra Community College to process any scheduling and/or academic changes.
Restricted courses non-credit and summer courses:
PSEO Option A students incur all costs associated with enrollment.
PSEO Option B students are responsible for payment of tuition, fees and textbooks if they enroll in the following courses:
- applied music courses
- courses with excessive lab fees
PSEO Option B students are restricted from enrolling in Remedial courses, examples, ENG 0510, 0710, 0810 MTH 0710, etc.
