Student Graduation Rates A cohort group of new, full-time students who enrolled at Terra Community College for the Fall Quarter 2006 was identified and tracked through three years. By the end of three academic years, 19% of the cohort group had earned an Associate degree or certificate from Terra Community College. The four-year average of graduation rates for new, full-time students who enrolled at Terra Community College for the Fall Quarters 2003 - 2006 is 18%. The four-year average of graduation rates for those students is 65% for Fall Quarters 2000-2003. This graduation rate is not uncommon for community colleges because many students don't have the goal of earning an Associate degree and many students who are degree-seeking enter, leave, and then later return due to a variety of family and work obligations. |
