COVID-19 Update for Residential Students

At the recommendation of State of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to Ohio’s colleges and universities, Terra State Community College is taking decisive, proactive steps to minimize our risk to the growing threat of COVID-19. Please see below for specific updates related to students living in The Landings at Terra Village.

Residential Students

We know this is a very disruptive time for everyone. We ask that you continue to remain flexible and we will continue to provide information as we charter our way through these unprecedented times.

College officials met with students living in The Landings at Terra Village on March 20, and individual plans were created to address students’ living arrangements.

For students who went home for spring break, please see below:

Students Not On Campus

COVID-19 Room and Board Adjustment Request Form

  • Shelter in Place - students not currently on campus are being requested not to return to campus at this time. However, if your belongings are still on campus we will arrange for you to retrieve them at a later date.
  • If you need personal items from your room, contact Jamie Lodermeier-Fay at 419.559.2160 or jloderm01@terra.edu to make arrangements. 
  • If you feel that your apartment was left in unsanitary conditions (i.e. food left out, trash, dirty dishes) you will be permitted to return to clean. Any cleanliness or sanitary issue that are addressed by Terra State Community College staff will be billed to your student account.
  • All access key fobs for students not currently on campus will be deactivated. If you are on campus but Residence Life has been unable to make contact with you, your key fob will be deactivated until you make contact with Residence Life.
