Students in this program learn to apply legal principles, policies, regulations, and standards in order to control the use of health information. Accreditation

The Health Information Technology program accreditor of Terra State Community College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for Associate degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2029-2030.
