Your Computer As A Toolbox

Basic Skills For Understanding Your Computer:  This section provides a term and definition page, as well as specific mini-tutorials on how to do specific commands.  These documents are for you to use as you need them.  If you open all of the web documents and go through each one, you will be:

 

  • Reviewing computer terms such as mouse, drag, open, select, file, choose, double-click, download, upload, send, etc.
  • identifying the operating system, amount of memory, size of hard drive, and processor in the computer used for the course(s), as well as specific types of software on your computer.
  • reviewing commands such as save, copy, and find files and folders on floppy and hard drives.
