Customer Confidence A+ Certification is a testing program being sponsored by the Computing Industry Technology Association (CompTIA) to certify the competency level of service technicians. Certification requires passing two exams. The tests offered are the Core Exam, DOS/Windows, and Macintosh. This class will help prepare students for the A+ Core and the DOS/Windows exams. Students will learn microcomputer hardware assembly and troubleshooting in a hands-on class, as well as exam topics on DOS, Windows 3.11 and Windows 95. Class time will be split between physical assembly of hardware and learning troubleshooting of DOS/Windows setup. This class helps students prepare for CompTIA exams #220-002 and #220-102.
