Transportation analysts all agree on one thing--THE DRIVER SHORTAGE has not, and will not be solved any time soon. The figure of 80,000 new drivers per year is still projected with no end date in sight. In addition, the "Hours of Service Regulations" that went into effect on January 4, 2004 did not help the shortage situation. For those having a valid commercial driver's license, good driving record, and the will to work and earn a good living, there will never be a lack of good jobs.
