Terra State Community College has provided educational opportunities to Veterans, active duty personnel, military dependents and survivors since its founding in 1968. In addition to assistance with educational benefits, we accept military training credit and provide numerous support services and recognition activities for our Veteran students.

Veteran Admissions & Advising

Admissions

Veterans or their dependent students wishing to apply to Terra State Community College can begin the application by going to the Admissions Website and submitting the free admissions application. Upon acceptance to Terra State, an Admissions Advisor will work with you on next steps to assure that you have submitted all transcripts, set up your terra account, completed placement testing, and discussed options for financial aid and scholarships.

Advising

Terra State provides veterans with a dedicated Academic Advisor. Academic Advisors are here to help you with career exploration, course registration, and planning the course work for your degree. They can help make sure you stay on track for graduation. You can meet with the advisor for your academic program, but know that Terra State always has an advisor dedicated to help our veteran students and dependents.
