Associate of Arts English Language and Literature English Language and Literature is the appropriate concentration for students who plan to major in English, writing, literature, journalism, or other related fields. Specific articulation agreements for this concentration are in place with The University of Findlay, Heidelberg College, The University of Toledo, and Bowling Green State University. In order to complete this concentration, students should select 12 hours from the following courses. These are in addition to courses used to meet the general requirements. Students should choose SPE 2010, Effective Speaking as the third required course under English composition/oral communications. Students must choose ENG 1850, Introduction To Literature as one of their humanities courses.

Requirements vary depending on the student's ultimate goal.
