Associate of Arts Music Concentration Twelve hours are required in an area of concentration. The AA in Music degree is appropriate for students planning to transfer into a four year program in any discipline in music. Students should be aware that although only 12 hours from this list are required, students should take more coursework in order to transfer into most music degrees as a junior. See your advisor for details.
Also required are two years of large ensembles. Music Education Concentration For those students planning on majoring in music education, the four courses listed under the Pre-Education Concentration should be taken in addition to the courses required by the above music degree.
