Transfer Information Transfer of Credit A number of options are available to students for transferring courses to other two-year and four-year institutions. These include the CAS system (Course Applicability System), the Ohio Transfer Module (OTM), Transfer Assurance Guide (TAGS), individualized articulation agreements, and course-by-course transfer. To participate in these programs, students should consult an advisor. While institutions vary somewhat in their transfer policies, a student wishing to transfer credit should generally have at least a 2.0 (“C” grade point average) in the course(s) and have completed the freshman and sophomore courses required by the particular college or university. Students who plan to transfer their associate degree work to a four-year institution in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree should discuss their course of study with the receiving institution as well as with a Terra Community College advisor.
