GRADUATION
Graduation Requirements for Associate Degree Programs
Students planning to earn an associate degree at Terra Community College must:

Complete all credit hours, or equivalent work, in the degree program.

Earn a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average in the major and earn a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average overall.

Earn at least one-third of total credit hours required for an associate degree at Terra Community College.
Completion Requirements for Certificate Programs
Students planning to complete a certificate at Terra Community College must:

File an Application For Certificate from the Student Records Office. A $15 Certificate Fee must be paid at the time the application form is filed in the Cashier's Office.

Complete all credit hours, or equivalent, in the Certificate Program in which enrolled.

Earn a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average in all "technical study" courses required, and earn a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average overall.

Earn at least one-third of total credit hours required for the Certificate Program at Terra Community College.
Graduation Honors
Honors are awarded to graduates who achieve the following cumulative grade point averages:

For students intending to graduate at the end of Spring Quarter and to participate in commencement activities, honors recognition is based on the cumulative grade point average through the previous Winter Quarter.
Graduation Procedures
All graduates must be sure to:

Secure an Application for Degree form from the Student Records Office and file it two quarters prior to graduation. The college will evaluate coursework and GPA, determine graduation eligibility, and notify students of their status.

Pay a $35 Graduation Fee at the time the Application for Degree form is filed in the Cashier's Office. This fee includes the cost of the diploma, diploma cover, honor cords, and coursework audit. It does not include the cap and gown.
