The Student Senate represents the student body under constitutional powers approved by the college. The Student Senate has a permanent voting seat, traditionally filled by the senate president, on the college-wide Council for Academic and Student Affairs (CASA).

 

As a link between the student body and the administration, the Student Senate strives to improve student life, help develop nonacademic activities, serve the community and foster leadership development.

 

Membership in the Senate is open to all Terra students who can become a senator by enrolling in PLS 280 Student Senate, a one-hour course offered each quarter. More information is available from the Dean of Student Development.
