sports at Kenmore-Garfield High School all four years and received awards for most
dedicated, servant leader award, leadership award, and the sportsmanship award. She
was awarded 2019 all-city Honorable Mention for Volleyball; 2020 2nd team All-City

was also given the chance to play Basketball and Softball for the Titans.
Her nominator, Ted Willman says, ”Dara is a hospitality management major who completes
her work to the best of her ability. She comes to basketball practice with a smile
every day and gives her best effort at whatever is required of her. Dara is also a
great teammate and never complains. She is always willing to do more and is loyal,
hardworking, and is always willing to learn something new. She approaches everything
with a smile. Hospitality management is the perfect field for her! She is a problem
solver.”
Harrison was on the dean’s list for the 2023 Fall semester and says her memories playing
sports, living in the Landings and being an RA while living there are the best memories
she will be taking with her after graduation.
She says she wasn’t quite sure what she wanted to major in but chose Hospitality Administration/Management
because there were so many different roles and opportunities available for employment.
Harrison would like to thank her parents and high school volleyball coach for their
support.
After her spring 2024 graduation, Harrison is undecided as to what her next step will
be.
