College coursework is challenging but you can do it with a little help. At Terra State, we offer several services at no additional charge. Sure some people might not need help academically, but they might need help finding sources of financial aid or determining which program of study is right for them. Whatever your need is, the faculty and staff of Terra State Community College are here to help.
What is the Academic Service Center?
The Academic Service Center is a grouping of academic support services for Terra State students. We are located in the General Technologies Building, B105 and house a variety of things that can help you be successful on your academic journey.
What services does the Academic Service Center provide?
- Tutoring - group and individual
- Testing - make-up tests and more
- Student success resources - handouts and strategies for improving study skills, note-taking
- Transfer center - learn more about transferring your options for continuing on to complete a bachelor's degree from a four-year institution
- Disability services - academic accommodations and program accessibility
- Mental Health counseling - confidential counseling
