Schedule a Counseling Center Appointment

It’s easy to procrastinate getting help, but reaching out for support is the first step to feeling better. Terra State Community College offers confidential counseling services and can help connect you with resources in your community. Just talking about what’s going on can help you feel better, so take that first step by reaching out for help or opening up to a trusted friend or family member. There are ways to feel better, but you have to tell someone what you’re going through. You can schedule a meeting with a counselor by:

  1. Calling 419-559-2367, to schedule an appointment with the counseling center. Be sure to leave a voicemail so someone can reach back out.
  2. Emailing counseling@terra.edu, to schedule an appointment with the counseling center.

ProMedica Student Assistance Program

The ProMedica Student Assistance Program (SAP) provides counseling to students of Terra State Community College. Student assistance program professionals are available and ready to help you resolve the issues that may affect your academic performance or prevent you from enjoying college life, friends and family.

Your counselor will work with you to develop a plan that meets your individual needs and finds strategies to help resolve your problems. If you require services that are not covered by student assistance program, your counselor will work with you to identify resources that are affordable, convenient, available in the area where you attend college. Visits are available in person, via phone or through video sessions. There is no charge for your student assistance program counseling sessions. They are part of your student benefits package.

A counselor is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling our toll free number 866-327-3759.
