IT Help Desk & Computer Services

Terra State's IT Help Desk is a vital asset for our students. We handle all types of requests including resetting passwords and helping solve computer related issues.

Help Tickets

If you need computer assistance and are unable to find your answers online, please contact the Help Desk. We are available by telephone, or through the Terra State IT Self-Help Portal. (Please note you will need to log in to use the ticket system - if you are locked out, please call us at 419.559.2309)

Support is available 24/7 by phone. If you receive no answer when you call, our technicians may be busy assisting others. Please leave a detailed message including a telephone number by which to reach you during our normal hours of operation, and a Help Desk technician will contact you as soon as possible.

Additional assistance is available in the Admissions office located in Roy Klay Hall, A100.

To submit a ticket

  1. Visit the Terra State IT Self-Help Portal or call 419.559.2309
  2. Be sue to include the following information when submitting your ticket:
    • First and last name
    • Telephone number
    • Email address
    • Information about the trouble or difficulty that you are experiencing. (Please include as much information as possible.)

Password Reset

In order to reset your password, go to the Account Management page at my.terra.edu or you may telephone the Help Desk at 419.559.2309 at anytime. If additional assistance is needed, stop by Roy Klay Hall A100. Please make sure to have your Student ID card available whenever you visit in person.

Student ID Cards

You can obtain your Student ID card by coming to Roy Klay Hall A100. You will need to present the following documents in order to have your ID issued:

  • Photo ID such as a driver's license.
  • Previous Terra State student ID.

If neither of the above documents are available, you will need to be able to present official documentation confirming your birth date and social security number.

Replacement IDs

If you have lost your ID card and need a replacement, you’ll first need to visit the cashier’s office to pay the replacement fee, and then bring your receipt to Roy Klay Hall A100 where a new card will be issued.

Campus Computer Access

The computer resources available for Terra State's students include hundreds of computers installed in a variety of labs and available in a variety of common areas around campus.

Wireless Access

Wireless access is available in all public areas of campus. Just connect to the “Terra Wireless” network and open a web browser to log in with your Terra State credentials. Visitor and guest access is also available.  

Computer Accounts

Computer and email accounts are automatically provided to students upon enrollment. Any help needed with login username and/or password can be provided by calling the Help Desk at 419.559.2309. Additional assistance can be found in the Admissions office in Roy Klay Hall A100.

Upon logging into any computers on campus, or by connecting to the wireless network, you must click "OK" that you agree to Terra's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) Agreement.
