High School College Access Programs-Tech Prep

Tech Prep Programs = College Access While Still in High School 

Tech Prep Programs combine academic and technical courses with career training to prepare high school students for college and high-skill, high-demand and high-pay technical careers. Career pathways and academic programs are designed through the collaborative effort of high schools, career-technical planning districts, colleges, and businesses. 

Get a Jump Start on College: students at desk 

Students have the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school and learn usable skills through the kind of training demanded by business and industry, using state-of-the-art technology and equipment. Programs generally begin in the junior year of high school.

College and Career Options: 

As a Tech Prep high school graduate you can use your Tech Prep training to get a job, enter an Apprenticeship program, complete your Associate Degree or enroll with one of our college partners to begin working on your Baccalaureate Degree
