Enrollment Checklist
The enrollment checklist is a step-by-step guide that explains how to enroll at Terra State Community College. Download our Enrollment checklist or pick up one at the Admissions and Enrollment Services Office to get started.
Steps included in the checklist are:
• Visit Terra
• Apply for Admission
• Provide transcripts of prior learning to the Records Office
• Apply for Financial Aid
• Complete Placement Assessment
• Attend CORE (Complete Orientation & Registration Experience)
• Contact the Admissions and Enrollment Services Office for more help
When Should I Apply?
The application for admission has no deadline, so students are welcome to apply any time before the semester begins. However, we recommend that current high school students apply before December 31st of their senior year. Adult students who have already completed high school should also apply well in advance (at least one month) of the semester they plan to begin.
Transfer Student Admission
Transfer students who have previous college coursework from a different institution should follow the same application process shown above. In addition, official transcripts from previously attended colleges or universities should be sent to:
Student Records Office
Terra State Community College
2830 Napoleon Road
Fremont, Ohio 43420-9670
After an application for admission and official transcripts have been received and processed by Terra, a credit transfer evaluation will be made. The results will be sent by letter to the address provided on your application.
Note: Credits will not be transferred for courses having a grade less than "C" unless the student has completed the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. For this situation, we ask you to refer to the Statewide Transfer Policy. To graduate from Terra, at least one-third of the total credit hours required for an associate degree must be completed at Terra State Community College.
Readmission
Students who have been away from Terra State Community College for more than one year will need to fill out another application for admission. Students who applied but never registered for classes will also need to fill out another application as well.
