Terra College wants to make sure our students are prepared for their programs of study. One way we do that is by making sure that we have an appropriate amount of textbooks and supplies for our students. You can find the learning materials that you need right in our CollegeStore.
Traditional Textbooks
The CollegeStore makes every effort to have required textbooks available for students. In addition, the CollegeStore purchases many used textbooks. Because some titles are more abundant than others, some courses might have all used books while others don’t have any.
Students may refer to their class schedules to select the correct books. Once at the CollegeStore, students will find their textbooks organized by course number.
e-Books at the CollegeStore
e-Books are the CollegeStore's newest option for students to purchase their course textbook. An e-Book is a copy of your textbook that you can download to your computer from the Internet. Some of the incentives to buying an e-Book are:
- You can print, highlight and underline materials in your e-Book.
- e-Books make note taking, reading-out-loud and text searching easier.
- You can use your e-Book on more than one computer.
- The cost of your book is less expensive than a traditional textbook.
The CollegeStore updates the list of textbooks that are available as an e-Book every semester. Make sure you check the list to see if your books are available in e-Book format.
Refunds or Exchange
To receive a refund or exchange on books and other materials from the bookstore, students should:
- Return books that were purchased before the term began within two weeks from the date of purchase on the receipt.
- Keep the register receipt and present it for the refund.
The following items may not be returned:
- A book that has been marked or written in.
- Books originally wrapped in plastic that are now unwrapped.
- Graphics papers and boards.
