The Medical Assisting Student Organization (MASO) is an organization that consists of Medical Assisting students currently enrolled in the Medical Assisting program. The purpose of this organization is to encourage medical assistant students to strengthen and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and professionalism necessary to be successful medical assistants. We promote involvement in the community for the benefit of the students and public, as well as inform students about events in the Medical Assisting community at a local, regional, and national level.

Proud Terra is a supportive, student-led organization that focuses on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, and asexual issues. Student Nurses Association (SNA)

The Student Nurses Association is an organization that consists of student nurses currently enrolled in the nursing program. The purpose is to provide communication between faculty and students, provide endeavors to reach fellow students’ needs and interests in academic matters, and promote involvement in the community for the benefit of students and the public.

The purpose of Terra State Christian Fellowship is to create spaces to encounter Jesus as we choose to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly (referencing Micah 6:8). We practice hospitality, facilitate scripture discussions, and have fun as we take steps forward on our spiritual journey.  We aim to create a safe place for students of all backgrounds to consider the life and teachings of Jesus.

TSCF is connected to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, which is a vibrant national campus ministry.

The mission of the Terra State Esports Club is to provide students with fun, competitive, and rewarding experiences that are an alternative to traditional activities and sports. The club will build student relationships and confidence, provide a safe & social place to play, break down barriers between different groups of students, encourage collaboration, build problem-solving skills, and prepare students for the increasingly digital world around them.

1. Do research: What is the proposed organization’s mission?  Does the organization’s mission stand out from other Terra State student organizations? 
2. Find interested people: The potential organization will need five total Terra State students to become an organization. The organization must have one advisor, who must be a Terra State faculty member.
3. Submit the Pre-Application Student Organization form: The form must be submitted and reviewed before the organization can complete the Student Organization Application.

4. Meet with someone from the Student Activities Center: The pre-application will be under review. Discuss what aspects of the organization need improvement before completing the Official Student Organization Application. The goal is to ensure that the group will successfully be approved to become an official registered student organization.
5. Assuming Leadership: As the group builds its student organization, the president must manage and delegate responsibilities to executive officers. Each organization is required to have three officers on record with the college when submitting its Student Organization Application. These officers’ positions are president, treasurer, and student government representative. If an officer position changes throughout the academic year, the organization is responsible for notifying the Office of Student Activities within 30 days and providing the most up-to-date information. 

1. Constitution: A sample constitution will guide the constitution development for Terra State Community College student organization. Organizations of new groups are encouraged to adapt this style to their organization’s unique needs and purposes. The constitution is a required submission with the Official Student Organization application.

2. Advisor Agreement Form: When submitting the Organization Application, an advisor must also fill out the Advisor Agreement. It is required for all student organizations on the Terra State campus to become active. 
3. Official Student Organization Application: The Student Organization Application must be submitted each year for new and existing organizations. Applications are valid August-August. For new organizations, once the group has completed all the above tasks, it can fill out the Official Student Organization Application, which will be emailed to the group once the Pre-Application Student Organization Form is approved.
4. Approval: Once all paperwork is complete, processing the student organization’s application for registration takes place. The Student Government Association will review the application and constitution. The group will be notified approximately three weeks after submitting the completed application and constitution to the Office of Student Activities.
