What is Communications?

Communications surrounds us through journalism, business, public relations, marketing, news broadcasting, intercultural communications, education, public administration and beyond. It is also an excellent pre-professional field for students considering law and advanced business degrees, as well as management and political office position. If you’re looking for a versatile degree that can be applied to various industries and organizations this could be your future career path.

The students in this program have the opportunity to improve their persuasion abilities and sharpen their strategic thinking skills. The primary areas of communication – written, oral, interpersonal and group – are thoroughly explored. Students are also expected to practice their public speaking and presentational skills. Does this describe you?
