Communication Certificate

The Certificate in Communication is designed to serve students in Associate of Applied Science degrees by augmenting their major field of study with a high demand skill set, to serve students in Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees by augmenting their pathway specializations or by fulfilling transfer assurance guidelines for students pursuing a baccalaureate degree in Communication, and to meet the needs of people already in the workforce and seeking professional development.  By building on required written and oral communication courses in all degree programs, this six-course, 18 credit hour certificate can be achieved simply by taking four, or more typically three, additional courses throughout a degree program.  The certificate can also stand alone, for those students seeking only the certificate.
