Non-credit classes like oil painting, “The Paranormal Agenda,” ballroom dancing, fitness classes, history of Sandusky County and more are all available this fall at Terra State Community College through the Lifelong Learning and Life Scholars programs.

There non-credit courses have a variety of discounts and no tests—just fun. Life Scholars is a peer-led group serving mature learners, age 50 and beyond, by broadening intellectual interests, physical activity, and social interaction. Some classes begun on August 22, but there are many left that have not yet started and still have seats available.

There are some new classes available this semester. One example is ballroom dancing instructed by Gil Aromas, owner of The Ballroom Company in Maumee Ohio, a Dance Vision International Dance Association (DVIDA) certified instructor, as well as a professional and pro/am competitor with over 19 years of teaching and competition experience at all levels winning top placements, top teacher and top studio awards all over the country and internationally. With more than 30 dances to explore, there is something for everyone at any level.

Over 50 more types of classes are available. For more information and to register, visit terra.edu/lifelonglearning or call 419.559.2255.
