Who needs cash - I've got a meal plan!

Terra State offers students a convenient way to purchase the plan through a prepaid system so you can enjoy great meals daily without carrying cash.

How it works

Start by purchasing a plan - these are declining balance plans. Declining balance plans automatically deduct the amount of each purchase from the your account. The amount of purchase and balance remaining in the account is shown on the purchase receipt. Money can be added to your account several ways:

  • Cash, check or money order made payable to Terra State Community College.
  • Available financial aid. Available financial aid is the credit balance available after your anticipated aid has been applied to tuition and fees. Please keep in mind that financial aid used toward your meal plan competes with the amount of available financial aid that can be used for book purchases.
  • Debit and credit cards including Discover, Visa and MasterCard.

When the plan is purchased, your student ID card is automatically validated for use in the Tree Tops Café. Your ID card must be presented for every purchase. and the plan cannot be transferred to another person.

You may add money to their declining balance in increments of $25 at anytime during the semester at the Cashiers office, Roy Klay Hall, A200.

Declining balance funds are automatically rolled over from fall to spring semester.  Unused balances do not roll over from one academic year to another. At the end of the spring semester, unused funds will be cleared from the student's account. Those students who chose to live at The Landings are required to purchase a meal plan for both the start of Fall and Spring Semesters.
