Terra State Announces New Leadership Positions

Terra State Community College announced Dr. Cory Stine, executive director of the Terra College Foundation, has accepted the position of senior vice president of innovation and strategic planning. He will begin on May 23, 2022. In this role, Dr. Stine will dedicate his efforts to leading Terra State on the best pathways to the successful completion of the strategic planning process, as well as providing his expertise in new and innovative programming.

President Dr. Ronald Schumacher said, “On behalf of Terra State Community College and the Board of Trustees, I am proud to announce that Dr. Cory Stine has been promoted to senior vice president of innovation and strategic planning. Dr. Stine is a great asset to the College and I am looking forward to his continued leadership for many years to come." 

Over the years, Dr. Stine has served in multiple roles in service to the College as assistant director of enrollment services, dean of Business, Humanities and Industrial Technologies, dean of Enrollment Services, vice president for Institutional Advancement and most recently executive director Terra College Foundation. Dr. Stine holds a doctorate of philosophy in higher education from The University of Toledo and a master’s degree in family science and a bachelor’s of science degree, both from The Ohio State University. The Terra College Foundation Board of Directors would like to congratulate Dr. Cory Stine on his promotion from executive director of the Terra College Foundation to senior vice president of innovation and strategic planning for Terra State Community College.

Replacing Dr. Stine as the executive director of the Terra College Foundation will be Jennifer Fehnrich, who will begin her new role on May 23, 2022. Fehnrich comes to Terra State with over 21 years of experience in government relations, community relations, marketing and business development, including serving as the executive director of the Owens Community College Foundation for almost five years.

 “We look forward to having Jennifer back on the Terra State Campus, as Jennifer is an alumna of Terra. Jennifer brings a wealth of Advancement experience to Terra State in fundraising and government relations. Welcome, Jennifer,” said Dr. Schumacher.

Fehnrich worked closely with elected officials and governmental offices on the local, state and federal levels throughout various communities in Ohio. Her experience includes successfully advocating for funding in numerous state biennium operating and capital budgets, as well as securing other government grants and private funding. Fehnrich is a graduate of Leadership Toledo, serves as vice chair of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments Membership Committee and is past president and a current member of the Perrysburg Rotary Club. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in marketing and communications from Franklin University. We are excited to have Jennifer join our Titan family.
