Students learning through our Elder Care Certificate will gain experience with our elderly, gain a better understanding of the challenges our seniors face, as well as gain interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

Six Sigma is a methodology used to improve business processes by utilizing statistical analysis rather than guesswork. Six Sigma includes five steps to define the methodology: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. Our colored levels—or belts – allow students to increase their knowledge about the methodology.

Looking for a hands-on career in carpentry and construction? Students in this program learn basic and intermediate carpentry, advanced skills in commercial and residential construction and the essentials of construction site safety. The program also includes training for skills that increase employability including goals setting, positive attitude, punctuality, teamwork and taking initiative.

Interested in working hands-on at local manufacturers? Become a certified product technologist and learn about the core competencies of manufacturing production including safety, quality measurement, processes and maintenance.

Students studying to become a certified product technician can learn essential skills to work entry-level positions through font line supervisory positions.
