Terra State holds Campus Cleanup Day

On Friday, July 19, faculty, staff and administration came together, put on some work gloves and cleaned Terra State Community College’s campus.
“Us coming together for this campus cleanup helps make the campus look the way we want to be seen: as the leaders in higher education,” Terra State President Dr. Ronald Schumacher said. “Thank you to everyone who came out and helped.
Many people worked on painting the railings, curbs, lettering and light poles while others trimmed bushes. Even the intense heat did not stop these individuals.
Director of Human Resources Jeremy McLaney helped organize the event. “It was a fun time to get together and be productive, while at the same time enjoying each other’s company,” he said. “We’re also thankful for AVI’s support by providing us with lunch after being outside in the heat.”
