Numbers are up this year at Terra State

Terra State Community College has kicked off the Fall 2019 semester with increased enrollment and residents living at the residence hall, The Landings at Terra Village.

Move-in Day was held at The Landings Sunday, August 18, and Welcome Week events have taken place all over campus. Some activities include free massages from Orion Institute, Canine Bliss pet therapy, a student involvement fair and much more.

The first day of classes were on Wednesday, August 21 and enrollment as of today sits at 2,322 and a full-time equivalency (FTE) headcount of 655.97—an increase from the Fall 2019 semester FTE headcount, which was 635.35.

In addition to increased FTE and enrollment, Terra State also has an increase in residents living at The Landings. Today, there are 161 residents and during the Fall 2018 semester, there were 57 residents.

All hands are on deck at Terra State to help create the future. Parking lots, the Titan Shop (college bookstore), computer labs, equipment and more have been renovated and updated. The Titan Volleyball team has had their first game of the season and all athletic teams, including men and women’s basketball, are full.
