Reineke Family Dealerships donates car to Terra State automotive students

On Thursday, September 5, the Terra State Community College Power Technologies program accepted a late model vehicle donation from Reineke Family Dealerships.
With the increase in enrollment in the Power Technologies program, another vehicle was needed for students to work on in their labs.
“To help maximize learning we need to keep our fleet of training vehicles up to date,” automotive instructor John Carpenter said.
According to marketing personnel at Reineke Family Dealerships Suzie Reineke, the company was happy to make the donation. “Career tech schools in our area mean a lot to our organization because of the fantastic education they provide for students,” she said. “We believe wholeheartedly in Terra State and their mission. They’re getting students into great careers upon graduation and we wanted to help employ more students by providing them with a vehicle to work on.”
“I wanted to thank Dan and Bill Reineke,” said Executive Director of the Terra College Foundation Cory Stine. “They have been tremendously supportive of the Power Technologies program. I also wanted to thank Jim Distel, the Service Manager, for his help in making this happen.”
